Kind of sore. Was shocked with the first one, didn't know I was having one, thought it was indigestion or heart burn. Knew full well what was happening with 2nd and 3rd ones.
Jesus Christ. I think I have them every match day. Nah seriously I’m pleased your ok though. Did they say what is causing them!
1st one was put down as Angina (its in the family) 2nd and 3rd was collapsed stents from the first. These days I always tell blokes our age to carry asprin in their wallet. It can be a life saver with heart attacks.
How old on the 1st. I actually ask this because I have seriously high blood pressure, a hole in my heart and being assessed for heart palpitations and something called AFIB concerns?
Can't say I've ever heard of AFIB. Your high blood pressure should be getting controlled with tablets, same I'm guessing with your cholesterol and I'm guessing here but your possibly on Ramapril for the damage to the heart and they should be telling you about asprin. Tell tale sign I get is weird. Its like a cold sensation at bottom of my throat. As if you'd swallowed a mint that went down the wrong way - I know it sounds weird coz everyone laughs. Gets to this stage and its on with the GTN spray and a call to the Ambulance and hospital
Was 37 with the first one. What I would say though is I kicked the **** out of my teens, late twenties and early thirty's. I'd be out all night every night. Clubs would close and I'd be in the casino's till breakfast time, home, ****, shower, shave, change of clothes and off to work. Then rinse and repeat.
Atrial fibrillation is what it is apparently. I don’t think it’s a sign of a heart attack incoming. Buy a sign that the heart isn’t working properly. Ive collapsed a few times with it for various reasons and I’m going into tablets soon for the blood pressure. The weird thing is although I’m quite a chubby ****er I am actually quite fit. But I’m always hot. Meh when your times up it’s up.
Start taking an asprin a day mate. just a 50mg one. Thins the blood a bit. Obviously check with your cardiologist first if you have one. If not your GP
That’s what I was like in my twenties. There’s a thread back a couple of months ago on this website where I admitted I was having a **** **** time and admitted I had a drink problem. The support I got was unreal. I actually think if it wasn’t for that thread I would be in hospital. I have a couple of people who I respect on here (they know who they are) immensely for helping me. I have no health filter (if that makes sense) I just see life to live it.
Ive got a middling serious hernia operation to deal with in the next month aswell. So the takeover news was exactly what I needed to perk me up.
I'm the same mate. Got married young, had kids young. When that went tits up I just wanted to party with my mates and **** any lass that moved. Probably mid life crisis but it was fun. I still smoke which drives my mrs crazy but slowly cutting down. My view is You only get one life - live it to the max.
