I was thinking they should just buy the city of Sunderland and cancel their football club and Xmas. Surely we can afford that? Don't use the place or spend any money just bulldoze it and maybe move it somewhere offshore
All nonsense, think we should just concentrate on getting some points on the board and put all that aside till January.
We're not though, only press and agents hawking their clients around, nothing can be done till January bar a new manager so back to reality trying to win a few games with the same squad, not trying to ruin anyone's buzz but they are the facts.
Makes no difference mate they'll already be sniffing around.. Agents will be running around after bonuses. They'll be after everyone and then in January they'll be ready to go. They'll know who and who isn't an option from the sniffing around.
I reckon there will be some bargains to be had. Covid has destroyed clubs finances around the world. Some clubs will just be glad to get some players wages off the payroll. Ramsey from Juventus for example. I hope we get out shop in order in the next two weeks with the right staffing choices. Then a new manager can assess the squad and decide on the right signings. Its orgasmic knowing that we will be making progress. And that we won’t be signing Phil Jones.
