The player buying or selling record of any prospective manager is totally irrelevant if we are getting a D of F.

The D of F will be the identifying any manager and subsequently any players and not the manager.

So now let’s get a D of F and he can pick the manager and then sack Bruce and then get the new manager in and then identify the new players for January. At least we know we won’t be looking at the cheapest options identified and going for them simply because they’re the cheapest as opposed to the best option.

If they had paid £10m for Perez it would have probably been seen as a decent bit of business. I seem to remember him being absolute ****ing dogshit for us for half a season at least before we sold him after he came good towards the backend of the season before he left. I don’t think you can blame Rodgers for the transfer fee…still not my first choice, but better than Bruce I suppose.

 

Tielemans, Fofana, , Perez, Castagne, Praet. Then a few loans and freebies. I'd say that's good going when you take Perez out
