Your chairman is the governor of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. Stop rimming psychopaths for cash, like a cheap whore.
He isn't involved otherwise the premier league would've succeeded in stopping this... Its taken 18 months. Stop crying and your insults will only result in you falling at my feet in a few years. I'm making a promise that I won't be easy on you if your club which is 1.2 billion in debt crumbles as mine grows Congratulations
If he builds a team with the resources Newcastle have and apparently a Sporting Director like Los Campos with him, he could be credited with transforming a bottom 3 side into a top half and if given enough time a european side. He'd also be an absolute legend if he won any trophy at Newcastle. It makes sense to me, because I think Leicester are being pushed out of the top 6 at this rate, they have cash but not the amounts required to consistently compete at the very top.
He’s already managed a top PL club and came close to winning the league. I don’t see how his CV needs turning Newcastle from bottom 3 to top half tbh. At this point in time he’s got more to lose than win in terms of his stock if he goes to Newcastle imo.
I personally don't think he'll end up doing enough at Leicester to merit getting a job at the very top of the English game. I mean, he was most recently linked with Arsenal who are about as midtable as they come now. Instead of getting a job at a champions league club he could try and build a team into a champions league club, but who knows. I've been peeking on the Leicester forums on another site and apparently Leicester have some turbulent **** going on behind the scenes and its apparently an unhappy place. Could be a motivation.
Leicester's start to the season hasn't been great and they've had a lot of injury problems. If Newcastle offer him silly money (double?), then he might fancy it. He's always struck me as massively egotistical, so he may think it's a big opportunity to win things. Could be a good move, could be a bad one.
I personally would think it's a very wise choice.. He's demonstrated he can coach in a style of play at 4 clubs 3 of which in the premier league Some of the foreign big names don't could fail in the premier league
Apparently they have also contacted Wesley Fofana's 'people' ... Here's what I think: Brenda came for 'the project' and seems to love life at the club... the Toon are light years behind where we are in terms of training ground, scouting network, infrastructure and there is also the relationship he has with the Chairman and the Board - whilst money talks, I think Brenda is getting richly rewarded and enjoying life - can't see him leaving. They are making advance to Youri Tielemans ... so apparently are Real Madrid and PSG... we'll sell for the right price ... bit doubt Youri will opt for the Toon, given the options. They are after Jamie Vardy ... think he will be with us for the rest of his career. Wesley Fofana is currently injured but on a 5 year contract (with no release clause) - provided he fully recovers from his injuries he will eventually move to Madrid, Juve, PSG or Barca. Hamza Choudhry has been a target of the Toon for some time ... they could well get him.
I actually think he's got Leicester punching above their weight. If he leaves the next manager who comes in they'll nosedive. Now imagine him going to Newcastle and getting them to punch above theirs with some decent players. I think the pace of progression for Newcastle will be much faster under Brendan. Going from bottom half to top half and then European football and a trophy will happen a lot quicker.
