I'd put Murphy down.

I wonder how they will judge this transfer situation. We are able to spend 190m straight away allegedly. You'd assume only a portion of that will be spent in January with the rest left to a new permanent boss come the summer. So what does a new boss sign? Generally I think a couple of older heads with a few younger players and energy lift you out a hole with regard to relegation.

Finally we are going to properly take part in a transfer window. **** we might even do a deadline day.

 

Keep list would need 4 lads who have graduated from the development squad for home grown talent in Europe.

 

Honestly think under the right manager a lot of the under performers may improve significantly.

@Darren Peacock's Ponytail is right we will need upwards of 80% of the current squad over the next season or two.

But sticking to the thread and the players I want to keep is as follows

Schar
Feders
RITCHIE
Lewis (potential is there)
ASM
Miggy
Joelinton (as a winger)
Willock
Shelvey (I think under a good manager with better players he might be ok)
Wilson
Some youth players

Lascelles will still be here in 2 years……Mbappe will need a chauffeur.

 

Ritchie is a hard working player and he's decent on the attack.

He cannot defend, but it's not his fault our squad is **** and he's playing a position he's not made for. He's costs us plenty of goals, but again, he's not a ****ing defender.

 

I forgot about him. Hmm would I keep him. Yes I probably would initially.

 

Longstaff isn't good enough..

We don't need ****e like that anymore... He won't get anywhere near the side within 1 year.

We need him for a short time

 

People need to remember we aren't gonna sign a whole new set of 25 players. I'd be happy with 8 new incoming players of a good (better than what we have) standard to supplement:

Dubs, Darlow, Woodman, Manquillo, Lascelles, Schar, Fernandez, Lewis, Dummett, Willock, Longstaff, Longstaff, Almiron, Hayden, ASM, J7, Wilson.

Add a new RB, CB, DM, CM, CM, RW, LW, CF - would be a 25 man squad and I'd hope that nearly all of those new comers would be starters/improvements on what we have.

Few of those I've kept are out of contract in the next 6-18 months so replacements for those if one or two more go from that list.
