Crackers that at the beginning of the pandemic you couldn't fly from Wuhan to Beijing but you could fly to London.

The fact is we won't know where we were comparatively for years. It's absolutely clear though that it didn't really matter when you locked down, the virus was going to get in and work its way through the population regardless.

Agree, Bonko doesn't want to make plans as he could be held to account... Something he's managed to avoid all his life regardless of where he's stuck his pinky..

EER I KNOW THAT what positives have Labour come up with except criticism after events, they have no solutions only nit picking, how can you support a political party bereft of any ideas and no solutions, maybe if they had a brain between themselves and some good solutions then maybe people would look at them as a serious alternative, at the moment we only have foul mouthed gobshites like deputy leader Rayner, who get shown up for their ineptitude

Where does he say he is?

We've got to get out of this 'entirely on one side or entirely on the other side, my side good other side evil' mentality or we're never going to move forward.

What is really a concern is the British public new exactly what Boris was like for about 10 years before the election and still preferred him that has got to be a worry if we are looking for a alternative to the Tories.

Not like Blondie to let facts and the truth get in the way of a debate on politics.

I think he's great, Rooch. He's not at the level of Churchill and Thatcher but I don't think he's sitting far behind them.

A Government is only as strong as it's opposition. Apparently.

problem always is with some people who like to criticise one party yet fail to see any wrong doing with the other party they support and fail to see both sides, i kept away from this thread for ages, but so many just keep banging on about the same **** with hate filled rants. Yet fail to see or just plain ignore problems with their side as well. No disrespect intended Blondie but don't you think this vitriol has run its course now, everyone knows your point of view now. Lets come together for the football

Agreed, but could you mention this to the fool who typed.. "Anybody who watched Boris Johnson today couldn't fail to be impressed with him. It genuinely was a great speech. I'm even more optimistic about our future after listening to that. Great stuff <applause>

mate i was brought up in a strong labour area of Sunderland everybody i knew voted labour, then Blair came along to fill his own pockets and i saw the light, i can get just as upset with Tory policies as Labour ones, in fact welching on the triple lock gets me going we are up to 18,000 dingy divers costing 5 billion now and instead of keeping the 20 quid for universal credit we give billions away , to countries who flood us with migrants, that's the tip of the iceberg,
Personally i find you a great lad with some great Input that i normally like and enjoy reading your comments, the place for action is at the polling booth

I partly agree with this. The country elected a fool and clearly thought he was less dangerous. However I don’t agree that everyone knew what he was a like. A lot of people just follow the media spin. Basically ‘Get Brexit done’ was what got him elected alongside support for xenophobic policies ie reducing migration and hating the french .
