Personally don’t think it will happen. He’s 30 would be in a **** team and would get frustrated. We need good players early days. Not world class players.
The new owners have had a long time to wait until the takeover went through The people who run these businesses aren’t mugs There will be people who have number crunched FFP rules over and over FFP are under review and are due to be updated end of this year by UEFA Lists of managers / players updated and changed on a regular basis No doubt discussion with the council and other businesses in the region And they know through all of this that with all the attention surrounding them , they have to be squeaky clean I’m sure there will be a few mistakes along the way (players) but I’m pretty sure the rest will be an enjoyable journey
You'd right, I suspect - they seem very switched on. And it's what we need - Lingard, Bissouma, Lamptey, Coady, Neves, Aarons, Ward-Prowse, Gallagher, Tarkowski, etc.
There's nobody going to convince me that we shouldn't want icardi too I think Kamara The cb at valencia Cajuste Are nailed on
Probably more switched on than you as Bissouma is the Brighton player allegedly arrested on sexual assault charges.
All of which I would take in a heartbeat Over what we have. Stick in a good team of coaches and a good manager (potter ahem) and you have a good starting point. Win win for potter for example. He gets the chance to kickstart the rebuild. He takes us as far as he can. Further if he is successful and bobs your uncle. If we can go from where we are now to top half in the next 2-3 seasons that is mission succesful.
Oh don’t get me wrong. I want him. I would love it Keegan style. But these new owners and their ambitions are built on good business economic decisions.
Everybody's more switched on than me, mate. I haven't paid a lot of attention to things up til last Thursday.
