why do I care about Newcastle area troubles more than my own or adopted home? stop using your hard up woe is me view.
I'm not hard up I gave you an example and you've made it all about you There's something very odd in your behaviour sometimes.
New owners doesn't mean anything until January, our first team is probably around 13-15th best in the league but our squad is paper thin (thanks Ashley). We could be mid-table come January and looking at consolidating or, with a key injury or two, we could be in the absolute mire. Relegation is still very much possible.
I think the players will get lift mind. All of a sudden they'll feel they're part of something big... The ground will be bouncing too. I'm hopeful and looking fwd to spurs and that baldy **** levy
On a separate note. Can we merge this with @Sucky FM20 thread? It's just that after a couple of years of settling in with NUFC and moving up the league I've finally won the quadruple in my 5th year in charge and I think we can all see where this is going. Cheers @Tobes
It rests on Wilson until Jan imo. If you can get him back match fit & keep him fit I think you’ll be in a far better position than without him.
Is that the @Tobes who said no ****in way this **** is happening a week before it happened? Remember, we had just watched the prem get butchered in CAT
There’s 2 ways of looking at that though, I’m sure there’ll be a fair few who know they’re not going to part of anything there beyond the next 2 windows. The excitement and atmosphere at home will defo help like. The key decision they simply can’t get wrong is the next manager.
Did you think this was happening a week ago? I didn't. I don't think many did really. @Roy Munson is the only person i can think of who still seemed to have any belief and he's, well, he's Roy. I can respect his views but I can't explain them.
Jamal Lewis sending off for being slow: https://streamja.com/jqoEO Don't think I've ever seen that before on a throw-in.
Agree with Roy here. We're going to have Bruce for a few weeks yet I suspect. If I were coming in I'd set a target a bit beyond that which i think he can achieve like "12th or above come December 15th please" and then sack him when he doesn't achieve it. Gives time to line up a new manager, gives the impression that you gave him a chance and it gives the players and manager some sort of target. I just don't see who decent is going to want to come in currently - it's 3 months until they could buy anyone, in that time their reputation could already be taking a battering. Saying "come be the person to turn this around, here's £100m to spend to help do it" should help. Even Bruce isn't terrible enough to have us cut adrift by then.... Oh no.
