I'd just like to remember that it was Spurs, under their spivvy owner Irving Scholar, who started this whole corporate football money chase when floating the club on the Stock Market in 1983/4.
ManU, Liverpool and Arsenal followed suit and together demanded a greater share of money. Their threats of seceding from the EFL eventually led to the PL thanks to ITV's Greg Dyke support.

These same four clubs were alarmed at the takeover of Chelsea and appalled at the takeover of ManCity. The foiling of their ESL and failure to stop our takeover, despite every effort, has exposed their devious little ways. Spurs, as ever, at the forefront.

The hypocrisy around this unbelievable. The big six objected because they were worried about their monopoly being smashed. Nothing to do with Saudi human rights.

And as you point out there is no squeeling ( pun intended) about bog roll prince.

Theres no squealing about a Russian oligarch who isn’t even allowed in the country owning Chelsea. Has anyone looked into his finances?

They are happy to move the World Cup to the middle of the premier league season to accommodate Qatar, where hundreds of people have died building the stadiums, before we even start to look at their human rights.

Then there are the clubs who don’t even know who “ owns” them, with questionable networks of foreign companies.

Lets be quite honest, the game is rotten to the core!

But now people start to question the fit and proper ownership...but only because the big six is about to lose its spot. Nobody gave a throw about it when new owners ripped the sole out of Wigan, and even more so Bury.

Find it funny we're being linked to players when we are yet to get a new manager. Or are these Steve Bruce's targets?

 

We're going to be linked with everyone and it'll be a scattergun approach to land a few big targets. I think they'll struggle to get players if we don't get out the bottom 3 come Jan
