I'd have been interested to see what the turn out would have been for just anyone buying the club. Half the elation is just getting rid of Ashley, it felt like that was never going to happen. Relegations in 110 years prior to Ashley:4. In 14 years he was on course for 3... and he took over a club that had been in Europe for, if i recall correctly, 14 of the 16 previous seasons. The change in ethos was stark.
We're already arseholes tbh like all fanbases. I just hope we never forget and start crying when we're struggling.. Which we will
Which fans? You think that these are the only ones who (still not sure of what they will invest) have invested in the club/community? Yeah, im gutted
You'll see mate we've got plenty fans They confirmed that yesterday they're going to invest in every part and every aspect of the club and the city.
There's no doubt he treated it solely like a business and treated fans with complete contempt. Even as an outsider I'm glad he's gone. Complete arse of a human being. It's fair to say it'll take a few years to get it right with building a side to compete for European places but no doubt you'll get there. I actually think in that sense it'll be a good thing. The more competition the more interesting it'll become. On the flip side it'll be unfair on the lesser clubs who will feel they have even less chance of achieving anything in the prem except making up the numbers. No chance of ever competing for anything but survival in the league. Clubs like Arsenal and Spurs.
You are not even reading my response or knowing what you posted. Never questioned newcastle fans. Roy Munson said: ↑ It's actually one of the bad things about the ground being city centre.. You get the local nutters joining in. I'm made up for my city today though... Money invested here post brexit post covid is needed and I can feel the energy again today. I understand this isn't good in the eyes of other fans, but I really believe this is going to be good for the premier league.. Which fans are you on about. And if its good for the PL, then all fans will be happy
Try Reading there's a few issues surrounding human rights and sports washing.. We've had plenty of fans wishing us well too Try and let me have my moment mate... Then we can get relegated
I care about that but not going to be a hypocrite about it. Plenty of clubs owned or associated with murderous governments and regimes or have practises within the sport which is scummy. Nobody really gives too much of a fck unless they happen to be russian or arabs though. Targeted xenophobia mate, and the media being the biggest culprits love stoking up this ****.
I know it's wrong but I can't help it... My desire for nufc to do well eclipses everything. If it wasn't is it would be someone else
oooh, I don't pal. Are PIF trying to get in contact? Newcastle fan punched a horse, never knew how put that banner up outside the wrong house
