Don't forget breaking through glass ceilings can also mean we spiral downwards as well as upwards, depending of course whether you're stood on the ceiling at the time !
Interestingly it's being suggested that the so called big 6 are monitoring things closely and have already been putting in objections lol .. no sh1t sherlock their little nest egg is about to be ruined with another filthy rich owner spunking money around and subsequently take a bite out of their pie !
The news is full of difficult times, troublesome, unsuccessful, problematic 14 years of Ashley ownership. But they were hardly a superclub before he took over, their league position over the years has always been up and down. SKY now saying it's a done deal
Go have a look on the Newcastle board, they've moved on from Kevin Keegan and Jose Murinio they want Rafa Benitez back now

so you want to replace a manager with no plan B who adopts a tactic of hoofball out of defence with a manager who has no plan B whose son has only hoofball in his tactical locker
Worst thing I've seen today? A thick as mince overweight Mag with a tea towel on his head, doing a sand dance along Northumberland Street. So, so wrong on so, so many different levels. Still, it seems to have made the natives happy.
Interesting that one of the main hold ups was the Premier League TV rights problem with Bein sport TV who happen to be Qatari owned that Saudi Arabia had banned from broadcasting for four and a half years. It's all about the money
Saudi and Qatar Hawk contracts kept Brough going for a lot of years keeping local engineers like me in good employment, no problem with them, good luck to Newcastle.
Steve Bruce is the manager of the richest club in the world, they have 320 billion. The biffias want Bruce out before he spends it all on crap players. His next game will be his 1000th as a manager (??) will he make it. From the Newcastle board 8 million pay off for Steve if they sack him.
i've often disliked manchester city. i don't recall ever having any kind of fond feeling for them. i tried to work out why once and the earliest hint of distaste appears to have been a photo in a late sixties edition of the park drive book of football, which was like a bible to me, since we had no tv and i couldn't get the internet on my mother's typewriter. the photo in question featured a man city player, wearing their red and black striped top (which i disliked (though it later looked okay on bournemouth), but not as much as i disliked the sky-blue&white kits, which i still think look lame and only a cig paper away from someone saying "sod it, let's just play in pink") hitting a pass in such a way that he looks an utter spaz. older viewers might recall a moment from the 1966 world cup final where george cohen does a one-footed turn in the england penalty area, but in an wakwardly laboured way and with a turning circle that would make the world's current huge container carrier ships look like jimmy johnstone or a spitfire in comparison. cohen looked an utter spaz during this turn and someone who would always be picked last for football at school, and even then only because he was the only player. so that was my first reason to dislike man city.
