Just to keep the record straight what I am against is the anti-vaccine idiots who want to see everyone in the same boat as them and will use any conspiracy theories they can think of to further their ends Personally I would like to see these people locked up if they can’t justify their theories
Well I feel I’ve stated reasons why some won’t take the vaccine and backed with government statistics, from their website. Very low risk in many age groups from the virus, the vaccine neither prevents you contracting or passing on the virus so less reason to take it, doesn’t make them anti-vax. Yes some are hesitant because it is still being administered under Emergency Health Usage, that’s their call, safety trials are not due to be completed until 2023, which may scare them. For me, it is those pro-vaccine that are pushing everyone to be in the same boat by forcing everyone to take to make themselves feel better. If you’re vaccinated what is the concern? I’m not fussed either way, I just get on with my life as freely as I can.
Before continuing our conversation I have to ask are you vaccinated, I don’t want to work on Assumptions no other ulterior motive
I’m sure there isn’t but that’s my personal medical history that I’m not going to share with people I’ve never met on a forum. I’m not sure it’s relevant to the principle points I’m making.
That’s your prerogative of course However I can’t give an educated response as I have just had my evening meal and had a glass too many so we’ll leave it there For now
There iis no happy medium either way in my opinion. Having been speaking to someone I know at Newcastle who was in a wheelchair having just got out hospital after 4 months, he had a terrible reaction to his first vaccine and ended up not being able to walk. He now cannot have any at all due to this. I'm not even sure things have improved as his son posted something the other day that made me wonder if that situation had got worse. Another lad wouldn't have it due to his best mate getting the heart issues and was in a very bad way and will take months to recover. This same lad ended up in intensive care himself for two weeks and will take months to recover. It only takes you to know someone who has reacted badly to having it to sway others not to.
Science seems to be the answer everyone likes to use when they become experts on vaccines nowadays. Whatever the BBC spout seems to be scientific fact until actual facts are used and then you become an anti vaxer. Anyone who has had covid is more protected than anyone who has a jab. Natural antibodies are stringer than a jab. Many players have had covid and therefore refuse to take the jab as it has a slight risk and in their eyes they are already more protected. It doesnt help when idiots like Boris nearly dies and then recovers with a shyt load of antibodies and then goes to get the jab telling everyone else to get it even though scientifically he is no better protected by having it than he already is. Mixed messaging
Now first we had the pfizer and before so very long The Oxford Astrazeneca we're really going strong And once again in winter you'll need a booster to stay strong As covid goes marching on...
So, a very good colleague of fifteen years and, dare I say mate, sprang it on me this year he and his family aren’t having the jab. They want to “read” and “think” the whole thing through. After all, clinical trial results aren’t going to be published until 2023! A week and a half ago, his wife and youngest contracted Covid. He was sheepish in telling me but that’s ok and, apparently they were fine. Last week you could tell he had a cold or something, Monday his wife ‘phoned in and said he was up all night Sunday and couldn’t work Monday. Then, radio silence until yesterday when I got a message saying the ambulance had been called for suspected sepsis or heart failure (he is in his late 40’s and his kids are younger than mine). Until late today, nothing. Then he ‘phoned me and said, even though the ambulance crew thought it had to be Covid, apparently it’s not, it’s glandular fever and he’s been on an antibiotic drip for 24 hours. Well, that suits his narrative but what made someone sticking a needle in his arm and pumping him with drugs suddenly acceptable when he thought he was about to die (believe me, he sounded utterly dreadful on the ‘phone)?
Me thinks a few on here should digest the contents of your post I wouldn’t wish ill on anyone but proves a point I was trying to make yesterday.
If the anti-vaxxers are that particular, they want to have a look at some of the substances commonly found in food.
Vaxed shee..sorry.. people Can still get covid can still spread covid can still die from covid Can potentially die from the vax Unvaxed people... can still get covid can still spread covid can still die from covid Cannot die from the vaccine
