    All joking aside, what the Coppers and CPS are doing with him is a ****ing disgrace.

    I see you've embraced the club move to Riyadh. <ok> Or Egypt, apparently...

    What are they doing with him? I've heard nothing since the initial story.

    Exactly.

    They arrested him, he apparently got death threats, so he’s ended up in a safe house, and they’ve left him hanging, no charges brought as yet. ****ing months this has been going on, either charge him or release with with a NFA. You can’t just leave the man hanging with a charge like this, they’ve either got a sound case against him or they haven’t.

    Maybe they think being an Everton player is punishment enough?

    It’s not funny imo, the fella is potentially having his life completely ruined here when he might be guilty of nothing. That said, if they do charge and he’s found guilty then he deserves all he gets, but I can’t see how it takes months for the CPS to decide whether there’s a case to answer. When it’s as high profile and sensitive as this kind of charge, they should have their ducks in a row.

    Think that’s the issue. Charge him, prosecute him or end this.

    if he is guilty then he can be sacked off, if okay….sold to the Toon

    Perhaps due to the ongoing saga with Prince Andrew the Police think they need a high profile victim/guilty person to compensate

    Would be barbaric if it were true but has happened in past history

    He seems ok with it:

    <laugh>

    To be serious though, there has to be some sort of limit on this, doesn't there?
    He's on bail and hasn't been charged, so he's got conditions, but that can't be indefinite.

    The bail limit is supposed to be 28 days, but can be extended by the filth themselves to 3 months, which makes the 28 day limit pointless. If can even be extended beyond that if they stick it in front of a poxy magistrate - not even a judge ffs.

    He was charged on July 16th, so I assume it all comes to some sort of conclusion in 9 days.

    Hey up guys, this business woman involved in the buy-out, Amanda Staveley, what's her link to Prince Andrew?

    It should do, but I’d not be surprised if it was plonked in front of a magistrate and it drags on another 3 months. The whole thing reeks imo.
