No actual link to us at all then. I was worried for a moment.

I cant believe people actually waste their own time writing bollocks like this :S

Used to love watching Del Piero, one of my all time favourites. Any club would be lucky to have him in and around after this playing days, similar to Viera at City.

We sure it's Del from Juve and not Del from Peckham?

One of my all time favorite players. Get him in as Beardsley's number 2 in the youth set-up, can you imagine the talent they could pass on between them :D

This is the only way I'd want him here. But if he was going into coaching he'd never leave Italy initially. And I don't know if he even speaks English.

What a crock of ****. The story has as many holes as a very large block of swiss cheese. Journalism, now the easiest job in the world.

Old and done but one of my favourite players ever. I would love to him in a Toon shirt. It's the same colours too! However, makes no sense at all given our recruitment policy.

Don't know about anyone else but I'd rather have del pierro in a one on one situation than any of our strikers. Pace isn't his game but he's not slow or lethargic he's quite agile still and from set pieces on infront of goal his brilliant, he reads the game well creates spcae etc etc. I'd love him here my only concerns are he is likely on big wages, he can't speak english, he may have a big ego and at his age I don't know whether he could adapt to the prem quickly although I do think he will be given more space than he was in italy as teams there are very defensive and the english league is more wide open. I wouldn't mind if we signed him, I'd be dissapointed if he was our only striker signing

5-10 years ago I would have loved him, but now would only have him as a coach because I doubt he would be able to handle the Premier League now
