And that's the leap a lot of people make. So if Bluey when he said "us" meant the National Front then yes he did mention them but does not go as far as to blame them. Seriously though as far as I'm concerned the blame lies with our supporters that's the end of it. There were lots of other contributing factors to that disaster but that shouldn't take away the blame. There was a huge problem with hooliganism at lots of English clubs though and the same fate could have been brought on any of those clubs if they had managed to get to that game.
I wasn't being serious. Heysel was awful and like you say, it was a hooligan element, coupled with unsafe crumbling old stadiums that caused that disaster.
tbh that's the first time I've heard that. I know there used to be a lot of hooligans that would 'team up' in the 70's and 80's when going abroad to batter some European fans. But yeah, it's a massive leap to blame it on Chelsea fans. Even though they are a bunch of ****s
Young Dan at it again. You'll all be fighting over him in January. Proper class act. Pisses all over Jordan Henderson for talent at his age.
Indeed it was awful which is why the Liverpool delusion of their fans being loved the world over is bull. I can think of 38 familes who vomit at the very mention of Liverpool. Anyway what I'm saying is that all clubs have their cants. Including Liverpool.
... in all fairness, those southern accents were just as likely to have been plaggy Scousers or Mancs as Chavs
Livpl fans may be our greatest rivals, they may be self-indulgent twats, deluded by every stretch of the imagination, and think they're something special, but as people they are sound and the ones I know or those I've encountered are good for the craic. Chav fans though...
Leicester yoof = **** Liverpool yoof = **** Southampton yoof = **** Newcastle yoof = **** Villa yoof = decent Wolves yoof = decent
