Apart from stealing yards at throw ins, nothing irks me more than time wasting. There is a simple remedy - too painfully obvious for the muppets that run the game. Ball goes out of play, or is stopped by the referee (foul/goal/streaker running on the pitch/ injury etc). Clock stops. Ref blows his whistle, or play restarts, clock restarts. After 60 minutes ( 'cos thatr's how long the ball is usually in play) game ends.
I agree we should use the system used in Rugby and other sports which records actual playing time. I would add throw ins to your list sometimes they take ages. Oh and make the play for 90 minutes!
I'd prefer it to end the way it does in Rugby - when the timekeeper sounds the full time hooter, play continues until the ball goes dead. I could just picture it leading to a repeat of that goal against Huddersfield every game...
Sierralta left out of the Chile squad due to injury. Doesn't sound good... https://today.in-24.com/sport/News/157656.html
Looks like we have upset Liverpool by refusing a later kick off time next week .. Oh dear . https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/0/liverpools-request-move-watford-game-rejected-jurgen-klopps/
Perhaps the scousers will find out at last that they do not control football in this country Several other clubs could be affected by the same thing so do we switch all games to 7-45pm I dont think so
Stuff them - and well done Watford for considering the fans. A seven hour delay in kick off time still wouldn't have given their players much time to recover anyway - I would have thought they'd be better off asking BT Sport to swap the game to Sunday. But, of course, TV comes first before fans...
Typical lazy journalism. Klopp has already said he has no complaint with WFC - they are perfectly entitled to stick with the agreed time.
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...o-sierralta-joshua-king-international-action/ Suggests King and Sierralta will be out even after the International break.
