Brilliant question this because a couple spring to mind. Both those mentioned would be great but so too would Lindgard or even McTominay. Strange that 3 come from scum but needs must. There are still players inside Barca, PSG, Real Madrid who they need to move on and hopefully something will happen. Draxler was on the radar last year so dont forget relationships between Bielsa and Pochetino, or Pep, or Simeoni
My money is on @ellandback saying James Ward-Prowse....again Obviously that would have to be a permanent move in the summer but he could be an upgrade on Klich. Too slow though in my opinion, we're getting some real pace in the side now and we need to add to that bit of extra zip in the midfield area as well.
5 England players refuse to get the Covid jab It was reported over the weekend that the footballers have given a string of 'nonsense' reasons for not having the jab. One said he was too 'young and fit', another believes it is a tool for government's to spy on people, and others are said to have been pressured against having it by their anti-vaxxer Wags. It comes as it emerged five Three Lions players, have refused to have the Covid jab - including three who helped the team reach the Euro 2020 final. 'It was interesting to hear Mark say he's giving the players around him as much information as possible but I feel we need to go a step further than that. 'I love that [Jurgen] Klopp has spoken out about this. Maybe some players will start to really think because perhaps the reasons behind it might be very simple reasons which could be overcome with a little bit of education.' It comes after the British government last week agreed to ease strict quarantine requirements to allow fully vaccinated players to train and feature in matches on their return to England from red-list countries, which includes all of South America. Those players who don't want to be vaccinated would still be sent to spend 10 days in government hotel quarantine when flying back to England.
I am shocked that professional footballers are allowed to carry on playing with all the stuff we've heard about the FA and clubs taking covid seriously - obviously not. Just reinforces the stereotype that footballers really are thick.
What people need to remember js that not everyone can have the jab, but anyone who says that gets called antivaxxer crap. There are footballers with underlying health issues which cannot have the jab. Not everyone can have the jab due to medical reasons of course. But they should be protected, which means everyone who can have one should. That report says two thirds of top flight players have not been doubly jabbed. I doubt if two thirds of the fittest people in the country have underlying health issues, just pathetic excuses ranging from the selfish "too young and fit" (in other words, if I get it and you catch it off me, tough) to the absurd "a tool for government's to spy on people" and "senior players spreading conspiracy theories involving Bill Gates, infertility and the power of vitamins".
To those that can it’s a moral obligation to the rest of society but we all know in the main footballers couldn’t give a f***about the rest of us
