According to Steve Tucker and co. we were supposed to have the fittest squad in the Championship, be more of a team than last year, work harder, be more difficult to beat - and make use of this fantastic 'new' science based individual training and fitness regime. So how come we've had more injuries than I can ever remember, and we twice throw away a lead at Peterboro (this following an away defeat and a lucky home draw - let's face it Ipswich were better than us). Simple truth, forget all the hype about what a breath of fresh air Malky is ..... blah blah blah - it's results that speak loudest. Summary (based on evidence so far this season): WE'RE NOT VERY GOOD.
Eight goals shipped in three games .... Ben Turner anyone? Runs OK when he gets going, turns like the Titanic. We can't hold a lead, but now teams aren't afraid of us - they know we can't do them on the break any more. Gone are the days of winning nine away games in a season folks.
