Sorry to take a more negative view on the takeover, but I’ve seen a lot of people say PIF are still here otherwise arbitration wouldn’t be going ahead. I have also had that same view. However, what if they actually have gone away - and Ashley is pursuing arbitration in order to obtain an official decision that the PL were incorrect to reject the takeover that he can use as evidence in his CAT case. If he proceeds with the CAT case, and arbitration doesn’t happen, then he might have a weaker case. Now as I write this post I remember Staveley said not too long ago that all parties are still at the table and I do believe that myself, it was just a thought that popped into my head today. Also if the above is obviously wrong or alrea covered, apologies, this takeover has taken its toll haha.
If that was the case I'm pretty sure Amanda Stavley wouldn't be going onto **** radio shows like TalkSport to have it out with dick heads like Simon Jordan, like she did just a few weeks ago saying they were still very much there and waiting to complete the moment it gets the green light.
