That's fair enough, but we're only going one direction if we aren't sold, and it doesn't end with Allams walking away with a fee.

On about name plaques. Did anyone notice the Hull City one off the locomotive wasn't above the players tunnel on Saturday ?

It’s been missing for at least two home games now, I took a picture of it during the Blackpool game.

I don't think anyone would stoop as low as Martin Fish did with the original name plaque. Would like to know what has happened to it though ?

I know people disagree about our squad being worth £20m but it's certainly worth a fair chunk. I'd want 8 figures for KLP to even start a conversation. He might not be the finished article, but there's loads to work with. Bournemouth have a £9m + £3m in addons option in Morgan Rogers' loan & he's only had half a season in L1. Whilst Rogers is a good player, his stats are nothing to scream about; 6 goals & 2 assists in 28 L1 games and he's yet to score or assist in the champ so far.

Similar story with Greaves. Stoke sold Nathan Collins to Burnley for £12m after half a season of regular championship football. Greaves is very good on the ball and left-footed which is pretty rare too so I think 8 figures isn't a bad ballpark figure.

It’s a symbol of the clubs football philosophy. Now erased.

Don't know if this is it or if there's more than one but this is in the Streetlife Museum.

If it is the genuine article, maybe the club could buy it back for say £500,000?

There was more than one, two in fact, one on each side of the loco.

Only one got donated to each club though.

Most nameplates got scrapped with their engines.

I'm fairly sure the one in Streetlife is an original.

Most of the working life of the Engine, those nameplates were painted sky blue.

When the loco was built in 1936, those were City colours.

Imagine someone nowadays turning up and changing...

    Err...

It was only blue until WW2. The name plates were black, like the one in the Streetlife museum as anything needing repainting was painted black including locomotives. After nationalisation it was painted amber. When it pulled the first train into Boothferry Park Halt it had a plain amber nameplate. That was how it was when originally put up at BP. The one thing it was never painted was black and amber stripes until City did that later.
