The leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Marti Pellow, will outline his party's autumn manifesto when he takes the stage at 7pm this evening. He is expected to announce tax relief for Scotland's beleaguered biscuit factories, as well as extending furlough for anyone associated with Brechin City Football Club. Pellow, 56, has also vowed to close the gap between the country's richest and poorest. When asked how he would do this, he said: 'I'm going to sell Dundee to the Arabs for a shedload of cash and then lump the lot on Rangers winning the Europa League. All the poor folk will get a slice of the action and easily have enough to start their own businesses - ice cream vans, scrapyards, gift shops and the like. It's gonna work, it really is. I can feel it in my fingers. I can feel it in my toes.'

I see Robert Kilroy-Silk has been lurking about the conference, peeping through keyholes and fingering documents.

The last I heard he was working at Thanet Autos as a salesman-cum-handyman.

So Rishi reckons that Brexit will come good ...eventually. I wonder if he has a particular decade in mind?

Wife went to Sainsbury's today. Before she went to shop for food she saw that there wasn't a queue for petrol so she topped up with 11 litres.
There doesnt seem to be a petrol crisis in south west London.

I went to an Italian bar, asked for chicken tikka masala. They had none.

Brexit has a lot to answer for
