I didn't see pep go that hysterical, Mr Claypole on fizz, when Kompany scythed down Salah when clean through a few seasons back, Or indeed, when Silva committed a foul on a yellow shortly before City's second equaliser. Is that the standard now - any second foul on a yellow is off? Mind you, Milner should have been carded in the first half for that one on Foden. Said before the game, and at half time too, Klopp was ****ing insane not bringing Joe on after he was carded - City were always going to draw a foul and go full Platton death scene every time he went near them after that card. I would have done the same, tbf. Klopp seems totally myopic when it comes to Milner, IMO.
In my version it's Davies - the best he does is get the goalie to fumble his mis-hit shot towards Mina.
It was a deliberate foul to prevent a promising attack. Really obvious yellow. He'd been beaten and stuck a leg out behind to bring him down. No attempt to get the ball.
Well actually, they are the first ones to sling ****, if it happens to be Manchester United fans sitting below them. Cups of it.
He’s very low on confidence, has only been using sparingly off the bench this season, was apparently told by Benitez in the summer that he could go if a suitable offer came in. So that ball comes to him, he should have pushed it forwards and inside into the acres of space towards the centre of the box, but he knocked it straight forward making the angle tighter & the cross the choice - if Mina is onside, but he’s got realise he isn’t. In his last appearance he missed the crucial penalty in the shoot out with QPR.
