The worst bit is The Sun’s maths.

“Gulf station in west London, is charging desperate fuel-short Brits £2.93 per litre to top up - double it's normal £1.98-per-litre charge.“

Didn’t read the figures they quoted other than what the station is charging……and that’s double the normal price isn’t it ?

They absolutely hate the sight of us, ever since we beat them on penalties at Wembley

Exactly this. We live in a medium sized town, but only has one petrol station, which is sainsburys. Diesel deliveries last a matter of hours with hundreds of cars blocking the road in both directions and the carpark was a holding area too. I actually had to go to the shop during this time (didn't realise until it was too late) and abandoned the car down a side road and walked as I was never getting anywhere near. The shop itself was empty because no-one could get in.

This was weds mid morning. There's absolutely no way all those people actually needed any fuel, during most people's working hours (appreciate there would be some in the queue who needed it to go to work). There were easily 150-200 cars.

Deliveries since have disappeared in hours too. As with the empty supermarket shelves last year, this just shows people's stupidity is only exceeded by their selfishness.

I've not needed to get any as yet, but will need to find some today. Should be fun.

The hot air and bluster that comes out of our PMs mouth could power the whole country. That interview with Marr was cringeworrhy. Even when being told he isnt telling the truth, he just continues with his ****. What an absolute twat he is.

Ive at long last found out what the 'levelling up' slogan means.
"I’ve given you the most important metric – never mind life expectancy, never mind cancer outcomes – look at wage growth ... Wage growth is now being experienced faster by those on lower incomes. It hasn’t happened for 10 years or more. That is what I mean by levelling up."
    Boris Johnson.

Heard on the tv that Johnson doesn’t bother speaking up on things like the fuel farce because nobody believes a word he says so it doesn’t matter what he says.. ****ing hell a PM who can’t speak to the nation because no matter what he says he’s so untrustworthy he’ll only make things worse

Genuine question Wills…..who would you want as PM ? I mean on the Conservative side as leader of the country ?
I agree btw, Johnson is an absolute joke and makes us a laughing stock….
