I wish I knew how to clip the chances I am talking about and post them. Alot of them are key chances at important parts of the game. I include stuff like Bamfords first touch which gets away from him when he would be clear through on goal (that happened twice first half vs Liverpool). He had a one v one against Newcastle too. Dallas must have had over 10 shots from outside the area and not hit the target yet. Klich....(enough said). Rodrigo has hit a couple straight at the keeper and rolled a couple wide with a free shot at goal. Rapha hit the post against West Ham and missed a great chance at Burnley at 0-0. Roberts cleared off the line and hit the bar yesterday.

    I know I am rambling....

As everyone else has said it's is so many missed opportunities when we are in behind where a simple lay off goes wrong.

My mate Rodrigo also had a touch like a rapist and lost out right in front of goal. Better toch it was a goal all day long but even he is messing up, its got to them all

I know and some have only been playing for 20 years. Seriously i found myself making excuses for them such as.. If we get a goal (we did) then we would calm down. But no we just carried on doing the same thing.

We look nervous... Second season syndrome?.. Afraid to fail and people normally do.

    Yea
Yeah its needing the cushion of the 2nd goal which settles nerves and to be fair we have had a penalty turned down against Newcastle which would have seen us go 2 up and smashed that game instead we lose the kead at the death. We should have another against WHU and gone 2 up but we didnt and lost all 3 points at the death. Yesterday we should have been 2-0 up if penalty given and a much easier game, but yesterday we held on. We need the second goal

FFS I need PSG to score a goal and they are 2.0 down and had a goal chalked off because of VAR with 20 mins left. Accy could be down the drain after the first match. FFS and the players they have.:emoticon-0121-angry

With our shooting there’s no certainty we’d have gone 2-0 up but you make a very valid point.

    Prolly be an o.g.! :D

I think he likes the look of some Leeds records, & is trying to emulate our Championship record of 1 goal from 106 corners. Only he'll be scoring once every 106 games. Most of us will be stiff by the time he hits double figures. Well, if he manages it ...

From what Bielsa said yesterday it sounds like he is amazing every day in training but hasn't transferred that on to the pitch yet.

He's had 3 years now. Maybe it's just a player at the wrong club. Send him to Newcastle and see if he can get a run of games going as he is just stagnant here. That's not having a dig at him either, sometimes styles just don't knit. It's probably best if he moved on for him personally tbh.

We'll call it 8 goals in 50 full games. Sounds a bit better.

ah ok it’s semantics - the definition of chances… I’m referring to clear shots on goal you’re referring to opportunities. So think we’re largely in agreement. In my view it’s not been so much our finishing as our capacity to fck up good situations.

as said, our xg isn’t terrible when compared to actual goals …. It was appalling in our promotion year…. But our inability to turn promising situations into clear cut chances is an ongoing problem
