We are even money, Burnley are 6/5. To get decimal odds from fractions for Burnley divide the six by the five and add one = 2.2 11/4 = 3.75 Decimal odds show your return including your stake. Much simpler way of doing it.
Blue is the back column. Pink is the lay column. Backing is what a punter does at a traditional book. Laying is what a book does. Laying is to say something isn't going to happen.
He won’t resign. He wants the money and payoff. He won’t be sacked as MA doesn’t want to agree with the fans. It’s a Mexican stand off which is destroying the club, fan base. It’s actually doing serious damage to the fan base.
I wonder if there’s any number of marker where the dopey ****tards in charge would even consider it? Takeover or not. If it were me I’d be in meetings tomorrow going over managerial preferences and agreements with all parties interested in the club and just expedite the changes, agree payment structures, etc. For instance if Redball want Jesse Marsch (yank for yanks) and the total cost is £15m for severances etc then you agree to add 50% to the price of the club. This is presumably what competent execs would do. Yet again I’m reminded we have the most moronic leadership ever assembled.
Ashley won’t do it for one reason, well actually two but mainly one. Us. The fans want it. So he won’t do it. The other is cost. The idiot have Bruce a rolling 3 year contract. Which renews every season we survive.
What I see it is at this moment it's a Mexican Standoff. The club have some evidence that can be used in Arbitration which shows the PL in a bad light. The PL are aware of this but are currently holding onto hope that this won't make it into the public domain due to confidentiality with the Arbitration being held in private. The moment that CAT case is given the green light (assuming it is) - regardless of time being before or after arbitration, is the minute the PL start acting in a more proper and professional manner and start trying to do a deal to save face. If the CAT case is giving the green light, at that time the club will be able to begin the disclosure period. This is where they will hope to get even more evidence of the allegations made by going through electronic devices of the EPL. It is at this point the PL could potentially be buried. No confidentiality clauses to hide behind. I honestly believe that if CAT is given green light then a deal gets done very quickly behind closed doors with some kind of confidentiality clause so the league saves face. They club are supposed to have evidence of these meetings with slimy 6 prior to PL meetings already. The club already has the lobbying letter from BeIN sports as evidence already. The club has the evidence of separation from the Saudi Courts that the PL informed them they no longer needed as evidence till arbitration as evidence. Honestly think CAT goes ahead PL will miraculously move the Arbitration forward by months, we are seen to win it, and the league claim there was never an issue and that private arbitrations are still the way for things to be handled.
Think it’ll be more than that, mind. And I think we’ll be around 7 points from 17th after Chelsea, and still have Bruce in charge.
I don't think Bruce will be here by Chelsea, I also think there's a decent chance Ashley won't be here by Chelsea. I honestly think Chelsea game could be the beginning of a new era.
Well we’re all praying you’re right. I like your CAT summary, it seems sensible to me. Expedite arbitration, pass, avoid CAT, get house in order in case it happens again.
