What bugs me Gessa is when under no pressure a professional player can't at least hit the target. I haven't a problem when a keeper saves a chance, but at least make the keeper work for it. Dallas had plenty of time to compose himself, but fluffed his lines. I know they aren't robots, but ffs they are well paid professionals.
Tyler was head and shouders above the rest during his brief but very effective cameo role. Very nearly scored a goal of Van Basten class as well.
I hear you on this one… it’s not so so much missing the target for me with these modern balls but how many slices and complete scuffers you see when they have time. these fckers can hit a moving player with a 50 yard pass… and he’ll trap that pass on a sixpence - but stick a net in front of them and most of them turn into habib habibou
Some of the ' Emma's ' on here should definitely do a penance when he does. Oh I forgot, it's all their criticism that drove him to improvement.
He was unplayable at times when he came on shaks. Great touch, went past his man, found space, drove with the ball, linked the play, smashed as superb volley against the underside of the bar.
I got a great lnk for the game, I just remember him not passing when he should have and hitting the post and bar. TBH I don't hate the lad and I'd be as happy as anyone if he could score.
I said yesterday that Llorente and Raphinha were 8s and everyone else a 7 so I gave Roberts a good mark. However before you all wet your knicks he has had a decent half hour FFS. He needs to step up and do what he gets paid to do, not just a couple of times per season. I hope he can do it but please stop getting damp about a few minutes
Being serious for a moment, I felt we were never in danger of losing to Watford. Although at 1 nil you can't count your chickens. All I know is that the result put me in a good mood and I was proud of the lads out on the pitch. Stupid International break next.
