FWIW VAR would really benefit from the fans being able to hear the dialogue between the referee and VAR. Fans just don't have a clue until decision is made.
We've also played wolves and Newcastle and got a solitary point from those fixtures for our troubles. I'd argue they have a right to moan about that.
The problem is that we just don't have a great team. I'm not saying Ralph is a world beater, but I don't see any manager in the world getting much out of some of our players. I genuinely think the likes of Tella, Djenepo, Adams, Redmond, Walcott, Diallo are all upper Championship level. They are doing their best but they just aren't good enough to succeed at this level. Worth mentioning some of the above are young and may well get there - just not quite ready yet. We just need to hope we stay in the premier league until someone takes us over that is willing to invest just a moderate amount of money.

Football has been many years behind rugby union in terms of technology and officiating. Hopefully it will come in time, because when you hear it I'm operation is a more complicated game like rugby, it provides such clarity.

There's some serious money invested in that never happening. Can you imagine how much sponsorship players would lose if Nike etc al heard them calling them the ref a ****ing **** to his face? Nope, we like to pretend the PL is a family friendly event when the reality is very different
Agree with all that but I think the plan is to only switch on for the discussion between ref & Var. Probably won’t happen anyway. Too controversial.
We desperately need a win I think. I agree that the fixtures haven't been great but there's more to be worried about than positive with our start, the majority of fans aren't looking at this season just on these 7 games, Ralph is being judged on our results over the last 10 months. Now whether you agree that's fair or not, that's how most fans view him
