Isn’t it in the Sunderland rulebook that we should throw away any game-in-hand advantage that we get?
So why not play Tuesday? It wasn’t a game fir Neil IMO. You can’t play a passing game in that. Neil is fantastic at that. But his passes would stop 10 yards short
That’s the point. It’s not a day fir any football. But when a 7 yard pass stops 5 yards short it’s dangerous. All well and good saying “they play on the same pitch” but if we’d scored first and been ahead now they’d want it called off. At 0-0 itd be called off. At 0-0 it was just as bad
I’m not going to get overly worked up over this result, we are a good footballing team but it’s impossible to play our game on that pitch. We move onto the next one.
Maybe what they need when youngans get to cocky in their heads, a quick slap to bring them down to earth.
may well be part of it if honest but we can hardly say we were played off the pitch and lost to the better footballing side...worst game for football i have seen in many a year, was simply a slogging match and they just slogged it better...think that is the part i am finding hardest to take, outplayed and i will give credit to the opposition whoever they are but to lose a game like that is damn hard to accept.
3rd in the table now on goal difference oh well that was good while it lasted, we won't get back in the top 2 again now. Not make the play offs either playing like that, shocking. Oops Lincoln did us a favour my mistake.
Well obviously Dan Neil and not dajaku. If it was a choice between starting dajaku and changing formation, I'd of changed formation. Loads of ability, but he's not ready. I'm not watching today. I could be completely wrong. Out of interest, what rating out of 10 would you give dajaku today? I'll compare when I get a chance to review.
