Yeah I'm not sure we've been poor at all today, though had a bit of dodgy defending and still don't really like scoring.
Not sure I agree, we look devoid of threat in almost every minute of every game. There's not an awful lot to this team. Some nice technical players in places but we struggle to both create and finish.
Armstrong for Theo at HT please Ralph. Slightly fortunate to be only 1 down with 2 disallowed goals and Alex making some good saves.
The big problem we've got in that respect this season is that Armstrong is a huge downgrade on Ings in general play terms (and likely goalscoring too). Hopefully Stu can come on and make a difference.
We're up against Chelsea and not being dominated as I see it. Yeah, we're almost as shot shy as Anthony Joshua, but there'll be chances today. I like our play, and Tella/Redmond/Armstrong are carrying some threat. JWP is looking better today as well. Their best players today are Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek, both of whom should be playing for us, as they have double-barrelled names.
Yeah, I'm pinning a lot of hopes on Stu (probably not alone on that!) making a big difference linking the central midfield and the strikers, because the options we've seen in the two behind the strikers so far this season have been decidedly disappointing.
