I like the lineup as we need the physicality for their set pieces and continuity for more intuitive play.

I get the feeling Farke has no idea whether to stick or twist. I hope I'm wrong. He has given us two of the most fantastic seasons we have ever known.

 

Good to see Dimitri back in. I thought he was a bit hard done by after the Jesus fiasco.

 

I’m quite suprised Dimi has come back in, seemed like the ideal game for the more aggressive Williams

I guess my main question with the formation is where's the supply line to the forwards? Dimi probably the most likely to create something?

Back 5, workmanlike midfield 3, isolated strikers?

 

Good start, but we look vulnerable to Vydra’s movement - two occasions he has found space but the Burnley ball wasn’t good enough and now he very nearly got a penalty and Krul sent off

(and just after I posted, Vydra outmuscles two of our defenders)

 

Vydra is surely winning a penalty today the way it's going.

Whatever happens in this game, I think Burnley are going down. Having a bunch of thugs willing to break legs is not enough anymore in the Prem.
