This is going to be a great game and not many goals in it. Who scores first can be crucial. Manchester City are going to keep it tight.

 

I'd take a 6-5 victory right now tbh...

if you are not looking forward to a match like this, it means that you think that City are better than us and all things being equal we’ll get beat. I think different. They are not and we won’t. Our attack is more incisive with Salah Mane and Jota putting them goals away regularly. They are on fire and much better than city’s top two or three with no number 9. The midfielders supporting the attack play with speed and intensity with the likes of Fabinho, Henderson and Jones in great form. And we are back to our very best defensively with VVD in majestic form.

As I said 2-0 with Salah starting the scoring and Jota getting his usual goal.

 

I don't share your complacency, but I do share the enthusiasm for the game. This is what football is about, this is why we're here - going into it with apprehension seems alien to me, I look forward to every game.

 

I enjoy your optimism but you've got the most rose tinted look at our side I've ever come across.

In games like this, you just can not ignore how good a side city are. Not only that, but if its a tight game they can change it with world class dubs while we can call on big div and little taki.

Like I say, I enjoy your optimism but you've got to appreciate most of us are a tad more realistic.

 

i think I’m more realistic than most here and I say it as it is. Most here are over-pessimistic or pretend to be.

In a crucial game like this, you would expect maybe four or five decent chances. We have taken a lot of chances for the goals we score and this worries me a bit. I expect they will not want to concede an early goal but you also have to look at how they took the game to Chelsea. Fascinating game in prospect, I don’t think we will underestimate them
