Look, I kind of feel for him a bit here. Like us, Everton have had years of obscurity, however unlike us their not only trying to be relevant in the premier league but relevant in their own city.

Now after years of obscurity they get a wealthy owner and are looking onwards and upwards, with ambitions and dreams of perhaps one day breaking into the top 4.

However they look at the outside world and find not only the clear advantages Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea have. They will be looking at Spurs and Arsenal as the shorter term targets to elbow out the way, and after all this time just as they feel it may be their time to shine they realise they still have Leicester, Aston Villa, Wolves and West Ham to elbow first. Then all of a sudden those pesky, noisy, deluded ****ers from up North become the richest club in the galaxy - and all of a sudden you don't even get out of being obscure.

 

Do you bring out the "I didn't mean" every time you are wrong?

 

Chalk it up as a win if you like mate, whatever makes you happy.

Evidence has been supplied that the slimy 6 have a meeting with Masters the day prior to any PL meeting so they can raise what they want the agenda to be. Which can be looked at as a clear favouritism and opens up all kinds of disclosure questions.
