I recall that she was quite unwell a few years back, maybe 10 years or so. Since then, she's not had any interest in recording or playing live but isn't a recluse and still does the odd interview and is seen 'out and about'. The suggestion is that she's very happy to have left it behind, much in the way that Gaye Advert is. I've got a lot of time for those that don't 'need it'...at which point she'll issue a double concept album titled 'I ****ing Need This'. <laugh>

Yes, he was and he drummed for The Damned but not until much, much later.

This drummer was in a really top pop act in the 80's and like Kirk Brandon, he had an affair with the lead singer.

That's him. He was to be Rat's permanent replacement but within a couple of months he was involved in a major car crash and the band broke up...only to reform, less than a year later with Lemmy, calling themselves The Doomed (or School Bullies or Les Punks).

    What about the vocalist?

Yep. His real name's Robert. Lu is famously short for 'Lunatic' as he was christened by The Damned. He was one of Billy Bragg's 'Blokes' amongst other good things. All round, he's a top 'Bloke' and I'm hoping that he might turn up at The Damned reunion gigs, to play stuff from MFP.

Yep...Gary Holton....later 'Wayne' in 'Auf Wiedersehen Pet'. He took Dave's spot for a short tour of Scotland in late '78. He was himself a stand in for Dave's mate Pete Murphy of Bauhaus, who was to have taken the gig, as Dave was reported to be dead...

So short was Holton's notice that he didn't know most of the words and Captain infamously pissed on him on, on stage, on 2 occasions. <laugh>

Pissed on him , from a height or just down the back of his leg
I saw the guitarist of Johnny thunder do that on stage at a gig in St Albans but it was on one of the officials who was trying to shut the gig down
That night there were more police and press outside than fans inside such was the paranoia about punk in them days
