Not sure if it has been mentioned but the Hoff has improved massively in a couple of games. Very comfortable last night. Almost Pickford esque the way he tries to get the ball out fast.

Yeah, felt sorry for the kid, no support. Trouble is he is on loan from Swansea, who only signed him in the summer from Wigan (he scored the goal for Wigan when they beat us the day LJ was announced as manager).

Think the only "mistake" he made was when he didn't come out for a free kick second half, right in front of us, that was headed out just inside the 6 yard box. O9 and Wright both had a quiet word and made hand gestures to suggest that he should have come and collected the ball.
However, rest of performance was spot on and he was continously talking to the rest of the team.

It's a relief to have another keeper I trust, haven't had one since McLaughlin. Got a good feeling about him, I reckon he'll be here for a while as we'll go up and sign him on a perm.

Mad how we're casually signing prospects from Bayern Munich.

His first game was worrying. But ever since he’s just looked so good. Top keeper in the making

To be balanced he has not had a lot to do, the next few weeks playing more away fixtures, will be the real test, but he has settled in well . it certainly looks that we have the armoury to cope with any tactics we may encounter now, and they don't come more hostile than that we will face on Saturday, a game I am looking forward too with relish and caution in equal measure. strong but is he a natural goal scorer. I think the way Broadhead played I'd rather we went for him

Agree with you, just pointing out to the OP who said we should be looking at him his situation.

A lad, on the Cheltenham coach, put £50 on them to win at 9/2 ...

... his mates egged him on and laughed as he got back on the bus <laugh>

<laugh> They were dreadful. Fully expect Rotherham to turn them over good and proper at the weekend.

It's hard to see how they'll pick up enough points tbh, I hope they can hold a few of our rivals though.

They did have a few of there better players out so maybe they’re not as bad as we made them look.

Just wanted to put this on an exciting thread rather than start another. Did anyone catch the highlights on quest? Paul Cook in one very awkward huffy post match interview.

That's one seriously disturbed man who really shouldn't be in management of any kind ...

... any player watching that would be put off playing for the man.

Reminded me of Nigel Pearson we hen he finally lost his mind.

You've just pushed me to download the programme and watch the interview. He really is unhinged.

"ask me nice questions", I mean come on. I get that he must have been pissed off that the interviewer had dug back into last season, but he should have called him out afterwards, put him in his place rather than wait a week later.
