If they weren't injured one of Davies or Sessegnon would likely be starting this one

Is there no one from the academy who could fill in?

We're playing the team 5th in the Slovenian league for pity's sake.

    Why risk players?

Shhh, don't remind anyone that Harvey White played as a makeshift LB for our U23s a couple of seasons ago...

Omole’s on the bench and he’s a left footed CB, played LB once or twice in our pre-season games though.

He may come on at HT if we grab one or two more.

At this rate we can take Skipp and Gil off at half time. Good.

Goal! Tottenham Hotspur 2, NS Mura 0. Giovani Lo Celso (Tottenham Hotspur) left footed shot from the left side of the box to the top right corner. Assisted by Harry Winks.

Somebody want to check on Dier Hard?

Far enough in front not to bother with that defending stuff.

It's comforting that some things are consistent in this life: Doherty is **** in every game, regardless of the quality of the opposition. It's not like he ever raises our expectations!

Have you seen anything from Rodon-Romero to show they’re a better choice?

Imo Spurs have 4 centre backs and none of them impress me much.

I see that Dele has inherited Aurier's role of Bermuda Triangle

Seriously, the guy has completely lost it. Strolls around, seemingly getting in the way and either misplacing passes or losing possession. It's a very sad demise.

Genuinely lost count the amount he’s lost the ball so far already. Though that penalty will earn him a spot on Sunday knowing Nuno.

I'm sure Doherty used to look up before crossing when he was at Wolves

It’s more that we’ve seen too much of the other two to at least feel Romero and Rodon deserve a chance.

I like the look of both of them too. Thought Rodon got a raw deal last season under both Jose and Mason, whereas Romero has shown signs of quality, had one or two mistakes but he joined us carrying a slight injury so he’s still likely not 100%, nor will he have completely settled this early, there’s a top player in there I think, albeit time will tell.

Harry Winks is fine. Well he's not injured.

They probably won't get an easier game all season, but Rodon looks a good player. Not rushed, good positioning and decent distribution. Worth given a run - just hope he takes his chance.
