By the way you must learn to shop at shops that are actually open otherwise you’ll never fill your basket or are you just making things up as you go along, sounds familiar

If you really want to know who’s fault it is then I’ll tell you
It’s all the fault of David Cameron and George Osborn

It’s the fault of the Labour Party for being so ****e there’s no one else any sensible person could vote for but the Tories.

    The Tories.

Upheld democracy when all other politicians and parties were trying to overturn the will of the people.

Put the decision of EU membership in our hands as the Labour government had repeatedly refused to do so.

    Record levels of low unemployment.

Stabilised our economy and reduced the deficit after we were literally left penniless by the former Labour government, including our credit rating being downgraded for the first time in history.

Delivered the biggest cash boost to the NHS in its entire history and enshrining it in law so it's protected for future generations.

Introduction of the National Living Wage

Cutting stamp duty for over 90% of first time buyers

And we were still told we had never had it so good

    Oh yeah, that's another thing...

My house price has shot up to between 15% and 20% over the last two years under this Tory government. Thanks, BJ :emoticon-0139-bow:

Reading all that was interesting, thanks.

My opinion on Labour v Tories is that they're all politicians. I read somewhere that the percentage of MPs that used to have a real job was above 60-70%, especially Labour MPs, nowadays it's well below 20%.
Very few of them have any grasp of the realities of living in this country.
I can give some examples. Corbyn proposed extending broadband to every home in the UK. Anyone who has watched Openreach digging up roads (close the road, dig a big hole, have a cup of tea, stare into the hole, have lunch.....) Knew how ridiculous it was but they didn't.
Subsidies for electric cars: they'll give you £6k off your (minimum) 30k car. Elsie stacking shelves in Morrisons can't afford £6k for a car but to pay for it the tax on her 15 year old runabout has skyrocketed.
Greta has no idea about real life either because she's grown up in a bubble. Greta has a Tesla but she wants Elsie to scrap her car to save the planet.

The media are just as fkn bad!

    Sorry, got carried away

I forgot to say that the people who don't understand why Trump was elected, and Boris to a certain extent, and why Farage was popular, I'll tell you.
They're not politicians, at least not like real politicians. It's why the political class and the establishment hated Trump being President. He wasn't one of them.
Do you remember all the headlines about Trump being arrested as soon as he left office? Where did that go?
In the same way that Vote Leave were going to be prosecuted for how they funded the campaign. What happened there?

What grates on me the most is that if you don't agree with the party line
Biden is the Messiah, Trump is bad.
The Tories are ruining the country
There is systemic racism in this country
Then you're a racist, nazi, homophobe....

    It's ridiculous
