And they were convicted for their crimes just 18 months after the murder. Good job I'd say. Contrast that with the total **** up on the Lawrence murder and it's perfectly understandable why it's been in the public eye for so long. I really don't get what your point is ?

the pakistani police had to engage in a long struggle to capture 2 of them, they didn't walk into a cop station and say here we are let's toddle off to glasgie and see what the fuss is about.......... the case has never gotten anything like the coverage of stephen lawrence....i would say that it's not understanable why this case hasn't had the same coverage over the same prolonged time frame..i have said my piece about corruption in all walks of life, i think we all know all about it period.

Ironic that the Labour government were in charge when the Guildford 4 and Birmingham 6 were wrongfully convicted. There is corruption in all political parties.
I think that question has been answered several times but you don't seem to want to listen. Length of time before conviction ; Kris Donald - 18 months Stephen Lawrence - over 18 years, and that after several trials and still some of them have got away with it. I don't see any police incompetence or corruption in the Donald case. Do you want the Donald case to be dragged up all the time like the Lawrence case ? Kris's killers were caught and convicted quickly and good riddance, why do you want his family to go through more hell ?
Jesus are you serious ? It took eighteen years and several court cases to get a conviction for murder when it was obvious who the murderers were and you want them to go to court over that ? I think they've had enough don't you ?

you seem to be really praising the police on this....but it took one of the defendants to return to court to give evidence against the others, and the intervention of mp mohammed sarwar to help officials with the extradition and meeting president musharraf and prime minister aziz because he said due to the brutality of the crime he feared a backlash to the asian community.....so but for his intervention and the gang member not giving evidence maybe the whole thing might never have come to justice... as for wanting his family to suffer more hell.... get a grip
