Ultimately you earn your respect from the players by the performances you get out of them on the pitch. And the belief they have in you. Those players are saving his bacon at the moment despite him. He will lose the dressing room if this carries on.
Thing is with Klopp he also takes no shhite from the players. I can remember some of the younger lads cheering one time when an opposition player was getting booked or sent off, and Klopp scourned them, it's about teaching discipline and I think that's Ole's problem or certainly the public face of him.
You know them better than me. But from what I saw outside looking in, Ole has got a few issues and he needs to crack a few nuts. I don't do with all this dressing room bolloxs from prima donnas that think they are better than they are.
Against Jose there was defo an element of prima-donna ****e. But I don't see that in Ole's case. It's just frustration imo, they know they can do better. There's no open dissent or anything either, they're trying their best under a flawed approach.
There's dissent there. Even Donny's mate at Brighton got stuck into Ole with comments. Who is this tosser anyway, some jumped up prick from Ajax.
I probably would have done but I never got the chance. Call it a pre-emptive defensive strike by Albert
Sakho was out the door soon after this, apparently he had a habit of being late for things. Klopp needs players to believe he can make them better to get the best out of them if ya know what i mean and mostly he does, so he has that trust in the bank with new players and young lads enough for them to play the way he needs them to. and like you say any signs of someone not 100% commited to improving themselves and in turn the club he wont have around fir long. Our squad for example are by all accounts a really close bunch, thats all klopp, part of it his own persona rubs off on them and part bevause of the characters hes brought in. Ole aint got nothing in the bank as a manager to have any players respect or trust. Especially from prima donnas like ronny bruno and pogba. Or doesn't seem to have a clear idea of exactly what or who he needs to bring utd back to the top. Hope hes there for years tbh
Man United were/are in the same situation that they were when Matt Busby retired New managers trying to live up to the legacy of their previous most successful managers which has affected most current Premier League clubs
Yeah, I wasn't the only one they banned for that reason. There's some decent posters over there but Albert sees himself similar to Kim Jung Un
@Libby We have Portsmouth, this Saturday. Horrible fans these bastards. Up there with Newcastle and Celtic, for me. We've had them assaulting one of our players when he went into the stands. Attacking our supporters stood with families at Wembley. Chucking objects down and injuring some of our support at the SOL. They all look like scruffs, too. Scummy little twats. please log in to view this image
