Well I’m certainly not ready for all this to go our way and PIF to no longer be interested

Summary
Our QC started strong. Went on attack accused PL of discrimination to the KSA. That BEin illegally lobbied the other clubs in PL. That the 6 ESL clubs were guilty of lobbying against the takeover. That the PL favoured a broadcast partner that was evidenced in the BEin deal being extended in December 2020.

He has then waffled on for ages and is now trying to say that there is no way of confirming that PIF will come back to the table.

He has mainly tried to justify a compensation claim and damages claim.

 

Which is true. The problem is by the sounds of what he is saying. There is no guarantee PIF are still there!

Personally i see that as an idle threat!

 

He is back in the zone(our guy).

 

I agree that he is just saying that for the benefit of this claim
