Somebody has to reply to this with that Monty Python cartoon where the guy is having a shave but ends up covering his whole head in shaving foam before cutting his whole head off.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

    But I'm like that...

Yep we where still poor. Confidence looked shot.

I still jumped about like a silly ****er when Eaves scored. Maybe the word jumped is a bit of an exaggeration at 62 :emoticon-0105-wink:

The second sub, coupled with the sending off seemed to trigger a bit of 'mentality' tonight.

It's still a poor state of affairs that they weren't capable of producing what they did in the last 10 mins with 10 men for the previous 80 with 11.

    Thats poor management.

Who is it you're referring to when you infer you're not allowed to say things or do things on here?

Any one of us can say what we want on here, sometimes it's popular, sometimes not, sometimes it's WW III!! Who gives a frog's fat ass?

I thought Coyle was dogshit today even before the sending off. Hopefully Emmanuel will get a run having been unfairly dropped last season at a stage when he was possibly our best player.

It was a poor display - individual players are generally OK but, as a team City players always look back first and are painfully slow at turning defence into attack. It's awful to watch and clearly has much to do with very poor coaching. The number of times we get players into position to cross or even shoot and they just don't seem to know what to do so revert to a pass back into the defensive half is hugely frustrating and a certain recipe for another record breaking relegation.

Don’t think I have , you’ve even quoted the post and it doesn’t even say that , so not sure where to go with that one. ** Edit….actually , see what your referring too now but not meant in that context is it , of course we are allowed, just mean who are people happy to expect us too beat, poor choice of phrase maybe

Honestly I think Coyle has been consistent for us this season. I haven't seen Emmanuel really stake a claim to get in ahead of him with the opportunities he's had, though he's very solid backup.

Bed? Lock your door and bolt it too. There's some big hairy arsed farmers down Gretna way who would kill for a bit of English mutton.

Enjoy the Lorne sausage in your full 'Scottish'...

Hitting the front quickly is something we did wel last season and have at times this season too.

The problem seems to be that in this league, other sides can do that to us too, whilst also catching us offside much easier than we do them.

I hope you are right ,I just don’t see where this feeling about goal drought ending is coming from… there’s no shortage of effort , but I just can’t see it with the way we set up every match . We looked more dangerous with 2 up top for 20 minutes , as many people have kept banging on about for weeks, would love to see us start like that Saturday . Very unlikely though

We looked infinitely better when Smith and Eaves were on the pitch together. 2 strikers? What is this witchcraft? Never to be seen again under McCann.

I agree , he was one of the best players in first half of last season , then at Preston after a shaky first ten minutes out of position at left back he was one of the MOTM , can consider himself unlucky really not too get more games . If I remember correctly he has a decent end product and set up a couple of goals with decent crosses

    Oh dear

Plenty of angry negative armchair 'fans' on here. The MKM is probably better off without you.

Good point in the end against an in form team.

Coyle should have reason to be a bit miffed.
He got taken out twice in the first half by bookable offences.
He got booked for his first offence and then sent of for an arguably accidental trip when the attacker cut across him a'la Verstappen and gave him nowhere to go. Not a bookable offence IMO.
Did anyone see the 'possession' stats? We play lovely football, if scoring is not important.
