I feel for Nigel Adkins and hope he is given the chance to.turn things around but oñe or two more bad results will no doubt, see him gone. Elsewhere, the scorer of Burton's opening goal must have given massive pleasure to some here, not only because of Burton's opponents but also his connection.
I wonder if last night’s result may be his last one. Losing 4-1 at home from 1-0 up to cement your club’s worst-ever start is pretty rough. Six points from the first 10 games. Poor Nigel.
Additional thought: at least the unjust sacking he was given by Cortese meant we never hit an ‘Adkins out’ point and can just remember the good times forever more.
