I like Clint. I grew up watching him on Sundays with my Grandad. My favourites being Hang Em High and Two Mules for Sister Sarah.

In terms of Clint as director, one film not often mentioned but tis excellent.

Costner gave a fine performance but ultimately schooled in directing. Gave up trying to compete soon after.

 

I thought he went downhill after Rawhide.

 

Yes, when he started appearing in the likes of The Railway Children and such.
