At the moment are we good enough to stay up ? Does Sean have what it takes ? Do our players have the skill and intelligence ? although good to see a bit of effort in the second half at leicester I do believe the foxes throttled back at half time ! our last 3 away games we are losing 10 -0 the home form is no better ! 2 wins out of 12 ! When is the time for us to change things ? I say the Give Sean the Hull and the posh games to show a definitive improvement! or resign and get someone in with some more experience and some good contacts ! I dont like the loan system , but I think our only chance is some heavy use of the loan system to get us out the crap! I apologise to the pro dyche camp but am saying what I feel and I guarantee you it is Heartfelt!
I agree, whats mostly swayed my view is the lack of tactics/playing to strengths. You cant hoof the ball to garner and sordel! Forsyth is on the pitch(cant remember a worse player too play for wfc) Plus the slagging off of players in wo- youngsters need an arm around the shoulder not a slagging off- perhaps sd should consider why marvin does well for u21's but strugles for wfc- i suspect getting PASSED the ball helps People slag ms off but he is all about movement on the shoulder of the last man, last year he had supplynnow he doesnt
In answer to those points: No No No After Hull Totally agree - getting good loanees isn't that easy you need contacts and a relationship with the top bosses and to be playing the sort of football that will help them develop. At the moment would you send an 18 year old prospect to the Vic for a year if you were Sir Alex or Wenger? I wish SD would have spent his budget on three or four quality players to fill the big holes (left back, striker and creative midfielder) and used the loan system to supplement this with another centre half and a winger. That would leave some room to make sensible use of our our own prospects. Pulling journeymen like Yeates and Mirfin in who were out of favour at League 1 clubs seemed ridiculous to me at the time.
1. Time will tell if you let it, but you don't appear to be prepared to do that; 2. Mostly, yes - but there are some I'd release, and not all new ones either!; 3. Were you there to back up this claim? My eyes - Marks & Robinson - told a different story, if my ears are to be believed ; 4. Can't deny that, but it's just as bad as MM's 2nd half of the year yet you were annoyed when he left. Consistency? 5. Early to mid December, when he will at least have had the opportunity to make more alterations and assess them; 6. Don't like the loan system either, but don't think we need it. Introducing The Prince tonight was a relative success, one that could be replicated with the likes of Whichelow or Murray or both. And I still think Deeney can be better utilised in his preferred position. 7. I don't apologise to the anti-Dyche camp because I seriously believe that their panicky outbursts are doing nothing more than causing damage to the team's already fragile confidence. Quarter of a season is nowhere near enough time to allow a new manager - half a season at least in my eyes.
league 1 here we come then ! H and BB ! this is a results industry 2 out or 12? How long do you suggest we wait for this turnaround guys ,jeez in most other industries with a success rate like that you would have had at least a warning! Have a good hard look at the league table ! then have a good hard look at the revenue we lose if we go down ! Look at the east stand look at the infastructure if we go down we aint coming back up in a long time ! To protect our status some hard decisions need to be made , the team is poor the gaffer is struggling what would you do as a rookie owner! I would suggest bring some experience in at the top and management levels and utilise our best asset to the full the kids ! but I know I cant change your views , so must hope Baz disagrees with you!
Watford looked very shabby today. Probably the second worst team we've played this season behind Cov. one foxes fan!
1. How do you know he hasn't had a warning? 2. No, you won't change my view, as i won't change yours, but i have to say you jumping up and down and getting your knickers in a twist over this doesn't help morale. We have to be behind the team we have, and not make them feel like they're on their own out there. 3. You're right, we go down, we'll struggle to come back up. I don't think we'll go down, though if the team keep getting knocked by the fans, they'll lose their confidence far more quickly and then it won't be their fault if we go down. 4. use the kids...sparingly. Don't burn them out. 5. There's really no point in this discussion..coz we've had it a million times before and the arguments don't change.
I think he has had a "chat" whether it is the vote of confidence or not the next few weeks will tell! confidence I agree is a major factor , so is skill organization , intelligence and work ethic ! will leave you to fill in the blanks!
Hate to say this but in every game I've forecast I've put Watford down for at least a draw(heart over head). My patience has run out 2-0 Hull this week, what's the point of getting players on loan to give you more options(kightley) then give the ball to Loach for him to hoof in the bottom left as far as he can....please,please,please start from the back, make the other team do the running
Sorry Vic your asking for intelligent play there , we dont do that this season! <smiley for spitting on the floor in abject disgust>
Here Here Norway, shall we apply as a joint management team at Watford, they'd get us at a fraction of the price of SD.....
