Probably the better side but severe lack of quality from both sides in attack and some careless decisions at the back
We finished the half the stronger side but still making loads too many errors. Not sure being marginally less **** than Wolves is the standard we should be aiming for.
Two teams trying to play football without the players to do so Unusually agree with Don Goodman, decision making across the board is dreadful in all areas This game is for the taking if someone can just make the right choice at a crucial moment….not holding my breath though
Both teams clearly had Sunday roast just before the match. Let's hope they perk up in the second half. Much of the excitement was from us giving the ball away. Started to brighten up, Che with the most tackles?! Felt like it.
He'll probably prove me wrong but I've still yet to see what Mo El adds to the team, he always seems to choose the wrong option for me and it's all very well doing it against Newport and in the SPL but the PL is a different kettle of fish.
Think it’s been mentioned in previous match threads but why isn’t it ever Prowsie on the edge of the box shooting from range? He’s too negative positionally.
It remains one of the most puzzling things, to me, that Romeu is consistently the most advanced central mid. But it's been happening for years, even prior to Ralph's arrival, so I presume that JWP just prefers to play deep.
Both sides pretty crap and extremely sloppy at the back. I feel Armstrong would bang goals in if he had the supply, but redmond/ely are providing bugger all. Tino popped a few crosses in but KWP is wasted at LB - we break through and get KWP in a great position but because he has no left foot he has to cut back and the chance is ruined. Get KWP to right back, move Tino forward and take off Elyounoussi for Perraud
Can't wait until Stuey plays again, he adds so much offensively with his running with the ball that commits oppo defenders.
It's not that good. It is a game of two halves things can only get better, please. Opens another Palm beer.
