Surely teaching players how to take chances is his job?

Of course I'd have been happy if we won, but we didn't. And to dominate such a huge amount of the game, have so many brilliant chances, and to only go away with a point? Nah, you've gotta blame Bruce.

 

He picked a team and a system that dominated today and the players didn't execute their chances.

Those players can shoot they just missed...

 

Nope. I said last season and the season before he did well in the end: at the time of the dreadful form I was extremely worried.

Eventually he will take us down and this season I am seeing little to change my mind.

Last season the football for the large part of the season was dreadful. But he got results towards the end. So hands up he did what was required. But it was horrible for the most part.

This season is no different and he’s not getting the results he should be. So by definition he comes under pressure again and the goodwill generated is rendered null.

I also would like to point out that we DIDNT WIN again.

 

Is Bruce ever at fault! His excuse will be. The injury’s. The finishing.

The goal that was disallowed for them. Was it offside?

 

It's just silly to blame Bruce today

If we play **** fair enough but acting like he should be able to control the players like he's on fifa and pressing triangle instead of shoot is ridiculous.

If Watford missed all those chances you'd say Bruce was just lucky.

Yes Bruce is but not today and yes it was offside.

 

I have already said I don’t blame Bruce for missing the chances. I blame Bruce because of the position we are in. If we had won some games prior and we drew then that’s fine.

Fact is we are not winning games.

One positive today is he may realise that captain fantastic is actually captain craps-his-pants

Well I thought they’d get beat today. From the BBC seems we were better and could’ve won, but didn’t. So, yeah. Anybody really care? Doubt it. Making up the numbers, results and fixtures of little consequence or purpose. See what Weds brings, there’s certainly no hope outside of a takeover.

 

Exactly that's why we need to hope Bruce gets a few wins before Xmas

 

I can't understand why he doesn't play a striker. Gayle isn't going to set the world a light but christ he knows where the goal is at least

 

I get the feeling though it wasn't his choice to give him a new contract and wanted a different striker to come in.

As we have seen over the last 2 years of ****tiness is that Steve Bruce is a stubborn and petulant man.

This guides Steve Bruce into not playing him to spite those above him.

 

I think this petulance is also then reason why Schar doesn’t get a game. There’s been a fall
Out between them.

 

Same with Matty. Get the feeling Sean is only playing as a last resort.

Also last couple of seasons with Almiron because he was bought by a previous manager.
