its so difficult to keep a clean sheet in the modern premier league, any team (Newcastle United) that goes into the second half thinking we can keep a clean sheet for 45 mins are deluded.

Bruce is a poor manager, anyone would have seen Max was completely useless today. He should have been off, one through ball to Murph was his contribution in a game we dominated.

 

They all missed great chances but I can't get over Murphy.

The positive is that nufc played well and there's no way they're worse than Watford

 

I would expect most players would have taken that around the keeper
especially as the keeper had come so far out from his line

No point keeping on a liability, just keep Almiron on, take Max off for Gayle instead. Almiron could keep the ball in possession.
