The Hornets did well to put an end to their three-game losing run, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but they do not want to stop now. Ismaila Sarr scored a brace in the triumph over the Canaries, meaning that the opposition defenders will no doubt be keeping a close watch on him. The Magpies, on the other hand, produced a fine display in a 1-1 draw with Leeds United. Allan Saint-Maximin looks unstoppable at the moment, and he is likely to prove a handful. Still looking for their first win of the season, Newcastle will be seeing this as a chance to break their duck if the Frenchman is on form. please log in to view this image Team News: Daniel Bachmann looks likely to miss out on this weekend's match between Watford and Newcastle United, with a knee injury. The Austrian was dropped to the bench for the game against Norwich City and was not included in the Carabao Cup squad against Stoke City in midweek. He will be assessed ahead of the Magpies' visit. Kiko Femenia could be included after he was forced out of the win at Carrow Road in the second half, while striker Joao Pedro could also be in contention after returning to full training. Peter Etebo is available again too after missing the defeat to Stoke due to contractual arrangements with the Potters. please log in to view this image Jarred Gillett will make history in this weekend's match between Watford and Newcastle United when he becomes the first overseas official to referee in the Premier League. Thanks OFH. I am going missing this weekend as after the rains comes the foraging deep into the semi desert hills, I hope I enjoy my trip! COYH!

Be nice to win this one. Good job Wilson is out as he usually does well against us. Guess we will revert back to the team that played Norwich.
Some interesting stats - *Newcastle United have never ever won a top tier away match at Watford. *Watford have accumulated more Premier League points (19) against Newcastle United than they have done against any other PL club. *In all competitions, home and away, the last ten matches between the two clubs have produced seven wins for Watford, two draws and just the one Newcastle win - back in 2018. Hope I haven't put a hex on today's game...
Afternoon all, hope all well. Currently looking for a stream, bit early I think. Must win this one. Enjoy the game all
