I would read books but it's taken me around 30/40 days to read The Lord of the ****ing Rings, and I'm only a third through the second book.

I can read any book after I have read this book.

I really didn't enjoy this book. Nothing seemed to happen at all and I only realised it was supposed to be funny when somebody told me after I'd read it haha.

Most Michael Connelly books, they're great if you like detective stories.

The only comics (sorry, graphic novels) i've read are Watchmen and V for Vendetta, both are ace, but you'll probably have read them

Although if anyone does post a cookbook, expect a barrage of abuse <laugh>

Really would recommend Michel de Montaigne to people, his Essais are a really interesting insight into his way of thinking, though getting through the complete collection is a somewhat epic job. Despite being of 16th century noble blood he was a very frank proponent of an 'everybody takes a ****, no matter who they are' philosophy and regularly stated his love of wisdom over acquired intellect, famously arguing that he preferred peasants of the day because they hadn't been educated enough to think they knew more than they did.

Perpignan was like something from a third world country especially when you compare it to the Swedish prison

I will give that a look. I love reading about ways of thinking ever since reading Discourse on Method by Rene Descartes.
