We're winning, but it's painful to watch.

    That's good.....

Horrible to watch but the back 3 are winning everything in the air....... just need a bit more composure on the ball....

Great battling display that half but we need a 2nd goal badly. Barbet is a liability on the left, Furlong getting past him every time. Its almost worth telling him not to venture forward as most of their attacks are coming from that side. We have to try and keep hold of the ball a little more or will be like the Alamo and they'll inevitably score. Come on r's hold on and nick another

Just saying the same to my lad. Ball is working his socks off, not johansons sort of game to be fair. Dozell might cover more ground and have more energy for this sort of game. They pressure like **** and we have panicked but held out so far.

I'd say he'll be on...especially as we seem to have gone long ball for this game

Dykes will probably come on but warbs chose gray for a reason. That reason happened after 45 seconds. Unfortunately we have not really done it since.

I'd say Austin is probably our most in form striker.

Spot on picking Gray, as they play such a high line.

Fantastic to be 0-1 at unbeaten West Brom, but we must keep the ball better and absolutely will need at least one more goal.
Brilliant tactically from Warbs but I can't see us shutting them out for 90 minutes.

We need to hold onto the ball a bit more, but they are not really posing any threats.
Darnell is one of our own.

I had the impression that we were trying to by-pass the midfield with long through balls as a tactic - similar to how we scored.

This allows us to have a compact defensive format and shape without committing too many players forward

It think it seemed to have worked, as for all the WBA possession and shoots, not too many were on target.

It will take some effort and spirit to keep ahead. We have both on this team.
Can see Dykes on for Gray early on, he looks well worked.
    Can we do it???

We arent playing our game. Johansen, Chair, Willock are hardly involved. Most of our long clearances are coming straight back at us. Not trying to play through them but over them and it's not working offensively. Defending ok but will do well to survive another 45 minutes of that. Think we need to pay it out when it's on and get Stefan, Willock, Chair with the ball at their feet.

He won't cope with Furlong's pace either though

Can't just keep hoofing into no-mans land and creating nothing whilst hoping the Baggies keep missing
