So do I, even just symbolically.
lot of small changes like that might help, and are certainly worth trying

Absolutely a cash turnstile. Not everyone lives in the on line world.

...maybe we could try making all male fans wear hats, shirt and ties, and rosettes?
    Seemed to work then

3,000 more than the previous league game against the Chelsea in the PL. It was obviously the prices. The tickets were something like a tenner.

You can walk up to the ground ahead of kick off and pay cash for a ticket for every game, the club just don't tell anyone, which is pretty much the point being made by several posters above.

I am mostly focused on the Allam years, because that's the here and now and the problem is bigger than ever. But we've always had smaller crowds than a City with this many football fans in it should have and even when we had more pro-active owners I don't think we've ever really done enough on this front.

The queue on the right is very wonky. Terrible behaviour from the Hull City fans.

Is this where Hull City hooligans originated from? Shocking scenes

I couldn't agree more. I first started supporting City in 1964 and before then the teacher who ran the school football team ( Fred Cowell) used to sell tickets ( 6p each) for Hull City Boys. It was well know that if you wanted a place in the school team it helped to buy a match ticket for City Boys off Fred. If you went to watch City Boys you'd obviously want to go and watch the first team. Sadly I don't think there are too many of those teachers around these days.
Who ever takes up the reigns from the Allams has almost a clean slate to work from, I just hope the right people are in place to advise them best how to get the fans back on side.

The club did a really good marketing campaign for the Chelsea game and matched that with cheaper prices. And it worked. It's as if the club is embarrassed when it is playing Luton or Huddersfield and only wants to put in the effort when a PL club comes to town. It's weird.

Some sort of loyalty scheme is an absolute must, not seen much about the promised benefits of becoming a member. If we ever again get to the point of selling out away tickets newbies should be at the end of the line. Also need a system to reward those who cherry pick home games to persuade them to move up to either the multi game pass or full membership. The ability to pay the whole season up front in 1 payment. The reward scheme for those at the lower end of attending games could be free or discounted end of season or out of date merchandise. The opportunities are endless only needs a just do attitude.

I did get a Hull City oven glove for my missus.

I thought it was a brilliant valentines gift.

She didn't seem impressed at all.

    Women eh...

I agree, I had no idea.

A lot has been tried but there’s also a lot that hasn’t been tried for very long or is simply so complicated or hard to do people who aren’t really that bothered give up.

The 6/12 match saver is great, but why wasn’t the detail available for the start of the season? Why isn’t it 5 matches for the price of 6 or something that’s a bit more obvious?

It’s not just stuff like this either, a group of friends and I were keen to try out the hospitality, the details on the website is a year or two out of date (the website that’s pushed on a match day) so we emailed for the latest info and got no response.

It’s lazy and each time I hear that the club is doing all it can to attract people I roll my eyes.
